The National Bank of Ukraine (NBU) produces and publishes economic and financial data for use in making monetary policy decisions and monitoring compliance with policy decisions. The data are also used to conduct macroeconomic analyses, assess financial stability, and inform users including government bodies, financial market participants, and the public.
The NBU publishes information on the management of statistical reporting that banks file with the NBU: NBU regulations on the procedure for compilation and submission of statistical reporting files; draft documents for discussion; answers to questions; explanations regarding statistical reporting management; etc.
The NBU conducts the following surveys: Business outlook surveys (monthly and quarterly); Lending surveys; Surveys of financial analysts (professional forecasters') macroeconomic expectations; Surveys of the top managers of Ukraine’s key financial institutions and companies regarding systemic risks in the financial sector.
The NBU compiles external sector statistics that reflect Ukraine’s role in the international trade of goods, services, and capital. External sector statistics provide information about Ukraine’s relations with the rest of the world.
The NBU publishes macroeconomic data that are collected and compiled by Ukraine’s State Statistics Office and Ukraine’s State Treasury Office. The data are used in making monetary policy decisions and analyzing financial stability.
The NBU publishes key financial indicators that show the overall performance of Ukraine’s banking sector and financial health of all banks that hold a banking license and submit reports to the NBU, as well as performance indicators of participants of non-banking financial services market
